What:
This community collaborative provides resources and aims to solve crucial challenges of individuals and families within the San Diego neighborhoods of: Barrio Logan, Chollas View, Grant Hill, Logan Heights, Memorial, Mountain View, Shelltown, Sherman Heights, Southcrest, and Stockton
Why:
To reduce duplication of services
To reduce competition and facilitate formal and informal collaborative efforts.
To improve communication among community stakeholders (community residents, service providers, members of law enforcement, the business community, faith communities, schools, health care providers…)
More effectively advocate for resources and/or policy and system changes that help to improve the lives of children, youth and families living within these diverse communities.
How:
Through the establishment of ongoing, regularly scheduled monthly meetings that simply provide an opportunity for attendees to
Network, Share information & Highlight programs and issues of importance to them
